UK Trip, Day 3: Imperial War Museum

The Imperial War Museum is dedicated to the history of modern war as well as the (British) people's experiences of war. It's got a fantastic collection of planes, tanks, utility trucks, cannons, etc. in its galleries, as well as some fascinating artifacts and information on secret war. It's also home to a reconstruction of The 1940s House (from the series of the same name) as well as The Blitz Experience and Trench Experience rooms, which attempt to recreate the sounds, sights, and even smells of those times. (We tried the latter, so we can attest to the smells!)
