I don't have any pictures for Day 10. We couldn't very well wander around London carrying all of our bags, so when we checked out of the hotel at 11, we headed straight for Heathrow. We got there so early, that we actually had to wait for an hour before we could even get in line to check in! JP and I killed time by playing backgammon.
While in line we met up with Pam, a friend of JP's who coincidentally was in London for a concert that weekend. The three of us hung out in the shopping section of the airport for a while, each of us wandering off to grab a bite to eat or do a little last-minute duty-free shopping. I picked up a copy of "Don't Panic!", a biography of Douglas Adams by Neil Gaiman, which at the time wasn't yet released in the states.
The flight home was pretty uneventful. There was, however, one notable event when we touched ground - I was informed that they'd left my suitcase behind. This makes me 0/2 in bringing home checked luggage from English-speaking countries (Australia being the other culprit; Japan, on the other hand, had no problem) They delivered it to me the next day, though, so I couldn't complain too much.
