Rules & Game Play
Glahefriends' Drinking Jenga

Setup:

Start with a (Hasbro) Jenga set.  On each one of the blocks, write a rule, command, or action for the active player ("puller") or others to carry out.  Stack the blocks into the standard Jenga tower, but be careful to make sure that the writing on the blocks is facing the bottom of the tower.  Establish the game-ending penalty (see below).
Play:
When a player pulls a block from the tower, whatever is written on it goes into effect.  They must then place the block on the top of the tower.

Terms and Guidelines:

"Take" or "Drink" means that the puller of the tile drinks.
"Give" means that the puller assigns drinks to whomever they choose.
One "round" is defined as each player having one turn, including the pulling player's next turn.
Unless otherwise stated, assume that all effects put in place by tiles last until the end of the game.
If a tile does not state to whom it applies specifically (e.g. "everyone" or "the person to your left"), it applies to the puller of the tile.
A "rule" is defined as a condition or set of conditions that affects all players.  Some blocks specify new rules (e.g. "Touchy Movey"), and some allow the puller to make ones of their own.
Penalties:
Standard penalty for being caught doing something you're not supposed to (by an imposed condition) is to take 1 drink.  Example: losing contact with either person next to you when "Hands Across America" is in effect.
Knocking down the tower, whether it is your turn or not, warrants a special penalty.  This penalty is established at the beginning of the game
Accountability:
More hard-core players sometimes invoke the "accountability" protocol, when all players drink comparable beverages (e.g. beer or malternatives).  Under this protocol, each player must use a shot glass to measure out every individual drink, rather than taking their drinks directly from their bottle or cup.
